Challenge
The owners of this 1907 Seattle home loved its historic character but knew the upper level needed a complete reimagining. The primary bedroom lacked a proper ensuite, the guest bathroom was outdated, and overall space usage was inefficient for modern living.
Solution
Sejant Northwest restructured the roofline to create the square footage needed for a luxurious new primary ensuite, complete with a spacious walk-in closet and a no-barrier, heated-floor shower. We remodeled the guest bathroom with the same attention to comfort and accessibility, and added an upper-level laundry room for convenience. The guest bedroom roofline was also modified to improve ceiling height and usability.
The Results
The Hoss family now enjoys a modern, functional upper level that retains the original charm of their early-20th-century home. With high-end finishes, barrier-free showers, heated tile underfoot, and smart space planning throughout, this remodel delivers both comfort and longevity—blending old-home character with contemporary living.
