West Seattle Home

The Problem

We went out for a free assessment to a West Seattle home. We discovered settlement in the garage and in the corner of the east side of the home. The settlement was significant enough that we recommended fixing it, so further damage didn’t occur.

The Solution

We worked closely with a geo tech and structural engineer to determine where, how many, and what kind of piles (steel rods) we would need to drive into the ground to stabalize the home.

After we established a plan, we went out for permitting. You cannot do anyfoundation work without a proper permitting. We helped our client navigate the permitting process, to make sure everything was in line before work began.

After a plan was developed and permitting was good to go, we removed the concrete floor in the garage and began driving steel rods into the earth. We repeated this process, using a total of 28 rods to permanently fix their foundation.

The Results

The home was fully stabilized over a period of four months. As a part of any job, we guarantee our work. It means you as the home owner, if there are any issues, we fix it. And, you can sell your home, and we guarantee it for the next homeowners life as well.
